This video series highlights the first full week of Jesus' ministry.  It starts with the first recorded miracle of Jesus, The Wedding Feast at Cana and it ends a few days later with the nocturnal visit of Nicodemus.  The wedding feast is important because it depicts our relationship with Jesus.  The night time visit of Nicodemus is important because Jesus gives a revolutionary answer to a radical question.

A better translation is "In this manner, God loved." Jesus was referring to the bronze snake being lifted up as a model of the Cross. God not only loves the Jews, but now the entire world. Agape is the highest order of love that God could possibly have for us.

Nicodemus is astounded at the teaching of Jesus. He told Nicodemus you must be born from above to see the kingdom of God. Being religious doesn't entitle you to the Kingdom.
