Ministry Opportunity of the Week: Children's Department
Pastor Craig has some exciting things planned in June for the kids but he can use all the volunteers he can get! The Shores Outreach is from June 4th-8th, in Ocala and he’ll need volunteers from 8:00 AM— 12:00 Noon. Then he will be doing his Kids Big Tent Revival starting on June 17th at 6:00 PM and going through Wed, June 20th. He has postcards to pass out to friends and neighbors located at the Information Table. If you are interested in volunteering at either event, see the sign-up forms with the events below.

Upcoming Events at OAG
Fifth Grade Graduation Banquet
Saturday, June 2, 5pm in the Fellowship Hall
Group: Graduating 5th Graders and immediate family
The annual Fifth Grade Graduation Banquet will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 5pm in the Fellowship Hall. Graduating 5th graders and their immediate family are invited to join us for a banquet in their honor. We intend to celebrate together and show them how awesome we think they are. Be on the lookout for an invitation.
Every Summer, the Youth (Grades 6-12) have a Summer Contest all summer long where students are divided into teams and they compete in all kinds of silly contests, games, and other activities. They earn points in the games, but also for showing up to church, memorizing Scripture, bringing their Bibles, and participating in other church events. There's an individual prize and a team prize at the finale in August. This year's summer contest kicks-off on Sunday evening, June 3, at 5:30pm at our regular Youth Service.
The Shores Outreach
Monday-Friday, June 4-8
Group: Teen and adult volunteers
Pastor Craig will be leading a missions team to Shores Assembly of God in Ocala to do a week-long outreach. Each morning, from 8am-Noon, our team will lead approximately 100 children through a WOC Chapel-style service, complete with games, object lessons, illusions, puppets, kid's worship songs, and a Bible Lesson. Our adult and teenage volunteers are invited to be a part of this missions opportunity, using their talents and working with the children in all of the above activity areas. This is an excellent introductory missions trip, as the church is close enough that we can commute every day and no overnight stay is necessary. Since we already do many of these types of ministries here at OAG, the costs are very low. For more information or to volunteer to be a part of this missions trip, fill out the form below.
