Being the Greatest

Speaker: Pastor Derrel Strickland

ScripturesMatthew 18:1-4, Mark 9:34, Proverbs 11:2, Proverbs 22:4, 1 Peter 5:1-11

Summary: The disciples argued over who would be the greatest. Jesus did not rebuke them for desiring to be great. He simply instructed them on how to become great, giving them 3 steps.  I desire to be great in the Kingdom. What about you?

It's Not How You Start, It's How You Finish

Speaker:  Pastor Derrel Strickland

Scriptures: 1 Samuel 9:1-2, 1 Samuel 10:5-11

Summary:  Saul started out great but ended in disgrace, David started out as just a young lad but ended up as the greatest King the world has ever known.  The difference? David humbled himself and repented, Saul hung on to his position, and pride and refused to repent.
