School Volunteer Team

Group: Adults

The school year is quickly approaching and OAG believes in our public schools. We have a partnership with the Wildwood Schools where we go in and help them run various events for the students all year long. We are looking to build a School Volunteer Team to help pour into these schools. If you are interested, the first step is filling out a Volunteer Application through the school district, which will require a background check. Click the button above to be taken to the Sumter County Volunteer Application Form. If you have any questions, you can use the form below to contact Pastor Amanda.

Senior Skip Day

Thursday, August 22, 10am-2pm

Group: Caregivers

Calling all caregivers!

We are starting up a Caregiver Day Out . We are so blessed to live in a community with its own unique characteristics, as well as its own needs. Because of the average age bracket in our surrounding area, there are many caregivers who are presently taking care of a loved one, and it is very hard for them to find the time to look after their own well being. Our prayer is this ministry will give them an opportunity to have some get-a-way time, and it gives us as a church an opportunity to reach out to others in our local community.

If you are a caregiver or know someone who is an adult caregiver, who would benefit from this ministry please use the form on the Senior Adult page to request a phone call from one of our registrars.

The start date will be August 22, from 10:00AM—2:00PM. Drop off and pick up is at the entrance to the Gym. Space is limited, so please click here to fill out the form and have one of our registrars call you to make the arrangements.

Who Is The Holy Spirit Bible Study Kick-Off

Sunday, September 1

Group: Everyone!

We are excited to announce that in the month of September, every age group in our church will be exploring together what is means to have a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit. Each week the adults, the teens, and the children will all be participating in the same age appropriate Bible Study, and there will be additional small groups available to learn much more. This will be an exciting opportunity for the entire family to learn and grow together.

For four weeks (starting 9/1), we will all be participating in this Bible Study together. Plus, any small groups that would like to use the materials can study at their own time and pace.

  • Adult Bible Study: Sundays, 6:30pm in the Main Sanctuary (during the Adult Sunday Evening Worship Service)

  • Youth Bible Study: Sundays, 5:30pm in the gym (during the Sunday Evening Youth Service)

  • Children’s Bible Study: Sundays, 8am & 10am (during the Sunday Morning Children’s Church Services)
