Thank God for the Overflow, Part 1

📜 Title: Thank God for the Overflow, Part 1

🗣️ By: Pastor Derrel Strickland

📝 Message Description: While looking at the bird feeders in my yard, I was amazed at all the sunflowers that had sprung up. They all came from the overflow. We know that Jesus speaks of himself as a kernel of wheat, a seed, that had to be planted in order for salvation to be possible. Before you can have a Pentecost you must have a Passover. Jesus was our Passover Lamb. He was willing to be planted to die so we could come to life.

Discussion Questions:

  1. Share with us your thoughts on Jesus being the seed.

  2. Why do you think that many believers are hesitant about planting spiritual seeds?

  3. Do you think God, our source, will ever run out of seeds for the sower? Why or why not

📖 Scriptures: John 12:20-24, John 12:27-36, John 4:34-38, 2 Corinthians 9:3-11
