Sermon: Part 7: Feasting In The Valley

🗣️ Speaker: Pastor Scott Anderson

Psalm 23 emphasizes a deeply personal relationship with God, portraying Him as a shepherd who provides, protects, and leads. Each verse reflects a different aspect of God's character—He is provider, healer, peace, righteousness, and ever-present help. The message highlights that knowing about God is not the same as knowing Him personally; true peace and confidence come from a lived relationship with Him.

Even in life's darkest valleys, God prepares a table of provision and peace. However, while the table is God’s gift, each person must guard their seat—rejecting fear, lies, and distractions that invite the enemy in. The presence of God offers strength, but it requires intentional focus and trust.

Believers are urged to slow down, not rush through moments with God, and truly feast on His Word and presence. The table is set, the seat is waiting, and the invitation is personal. The choice is to live near the table or to sit down and experience the fullness of life with the Shepherd.
