Living By Faith in God’s Timing

Preached to: Middle & High School Students

Speaker: Pastor Amanda Hahn

As we step into 2026, Amplify Youth is embracing a new theme and vision: ACCELERATE.

Last year was a season of SHIFT—God reshaping structures, rhythms, and expectations. Shifts can feel uncomfortable or slow, but God never shifts us to stall us. He shifts us to prepare us. Now that the shift has happened, it’s time to move forward—not ahead of God, but with Him.

ACCELERATE is a year of faith-fueled momentum as we step into God’s vision with fresh fire and full trust in His timing.

Key Verse: Habukkuk 2:3-4

God’s Vision Has a Set Time

Habakkuk reminds us that God’s vision is not random or rushed. It has a purpose and a timeline. What feels like delay to us is often preparation in God’s hands. Just because we can’t see it yet doesn’t mean God isn’t moving.

Waiting Is Not Wasted

Waiting seasons are not empty seasons. God uses them to refine us, strengthen us, and ignite fresh fire within us. Just like building a fire takes preparation, waiting often fuels what God is about to accelerate next.

Acceleration Fails When We Trust Ourselves

When we rely on our own strength, emotions, or understanding, we can move fast in the wrong direction. Scripture makes it clear: self-powered living leads to broken paths, but God-powered living leads to life.

Faith Is the Accelerator

Faith is not passive—it moves. Faith obeys, shows up, stays consistent, and keeps going even when it’s hard. True acceleration isn’t about doing more; it’s about trusting deeper. When God sets the vision, faith is what moves us forward.

Next Steps: The 21-Day ACCELERATE Faith Challenge

To help students put faith into action, we launched a 21-Day Faith Challenge:

  • 📖 10 minutes in God’s Word each day

  • 🙏 5 minutes of prayer each day

  • 🔥 1 faith action per week (serve, invite, share, obey)

Challenge Dates: January 8–28
Tagline: Small steps. Real faith. God-sized momentum.

Students are encouraged to reflect on what God is doing in their lives and take intentional steps of faith as we ACCELERATE into 2026 together.

Keep up with all that’s going on at Amplify Youth, including dates, times, sign-ups, and forms, on our main page.

  • Habakkuk 2:3-4 (NLT)

“This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.”
