WHY I TRUST GOD

Preached to: Middle & High School Students

Speaker: Pastor Amanda Hahn

In Week 6 of our WHY series, we explored what it means to truly trust God with our future. While culture tells us to figure everything out on our own, Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us to trust God fully, not lean on our own understanding, and seek His direction in every area of life. Real faith goes beyond belief—it shows up in our decisions, especially when we don’t have all the answers. When our faith becomes our own, we begin to release control and trust that God is leading us step by step. Our future feels less overwhelming when we remember it’s in the hands of a faithful God.

BIG IDEA: When your faith becomes your own, you stop trying to control your future and start trusting God to lead your life.
